ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC laptop launched with AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, RX580 GPU

Asus Rog Strix AMD

After what seemed like several years of hibernation and incessant mocking by Intel fans, AMD finally pulled out their ace in the hole; the Ryzen series of processors. The ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC-WB74 is one of the first gaming laptops to feature a Ryzen processor and most definitely not the last. For all practical purposes, the ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC-WB74 can be considered as AMD’s ‘flagship’ gaming laptop as the Ryzen CPU is paired with an RX580 GPU, both of which are top of the line components.

ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC: Price, Variants

It is available in three variants, one with a Ryzen 7 CP, another one a slightly more affordable one with a Ryzen 5 CPU and a third with a 120Hz display panel.  The price of the laptop in India isn’t specified, but it is already available on Amazon US for $1,499. The price, I must admit, is a bit steep, but that’s how it goes with gaming laptops. Enough of my rambling, let’s move on to the part you’ve been waiting for, the specifications of the ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC-WB74.
