Lenovo has unveiled the new ThinkPad L, ThinkPad T, and ThinkPad X series laptops ahead of the CES 2018 event. These laptops feature a lighter, slimmer design along with Intel 8th generation processors and USB Type-C power adapters.
Lenovo ThinkPad L series
The Lenovo ThinkPad L series has four laptops; the L380 Yoga, L380, L480, and the L580. These laptops are available in 13-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch variants. The laptops feature Intel’s 8th-generation processors. These laptops will also be available with optional multi-touch displays and docking stations. The top of the line Lenovo ThinkPad L580 will come equipped with AMD graphics. These four ThinkPad L series laptops will rollout in February 2018.
Lenovo ThinkPad T series
The Lenovo ThinkPad T series has three laptops; the T480, T480s, and the T580. Like the ThinkPad L series, the ThinkPad T series laptops are also equipped with Intel 8th-generation processors. Additionally, these laptops have multiple security and privacy features like IR camera, fingerprint scanner, and ThinkStutter Camera Privacy. The ThinkPad T series laptops come bearing 27 hours of battery life. Also, the top of the line ThinkPad T580 laptop packs a UHD display. According to Lenovo, the ThinkPad L480s is one of the lightest business laptops on the market. The three Lenovo ThinkPad T series laptops will be available later this month.
Lenovo ThinkPad X series
The Lenovo ThinkPad X series has two laptops; the X280, and the X380. Like the ThinkPad L series and the ThinkPad T series, the ThinkPad X series laptops too feature an 8th-generation Intel processors. Both the laptops feature fast charging; they can charge up to 80% in just 60 minutes. These laptops are rated for 16.6 hours of battery life. The top of the line X380 comes equipped with an IR camera with Windows Hello support and an Active Pen. According to Lenovo, the ThinkPad X series are focused on durability. Both the Lenovo ThinkPad X series laptops will be available later this month.
