Lenovo Miix 630: Price, Availability

Lenovo says the Miix 620 2-in-1 will be going on sale in March or April in select markets. In the US, it will start at $799 (Rs.50,800) for the base configuration, which will come bundled with a stylus with 1,204 levels of pressure sensitivity. No word yet on whether or not the device will be making its way to India anytime soon.

Lenovo Miix 630: Features, Specifications

The Lenovo Miix 630 comes with a detachable keyboard that allows it to be used both as a conventional notebook as well as a tablet. It features a 12.3-inch 1920 x 1280 WUXGA+ display with a pixel density of 187 pixels per inch. Powering the 2-in-1 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor clocked at 2.45 GHz. Graphics processing is taken care of by the chip’s integrated Adreno 540 GPU clocked at 710 MHz. In the memory department, Lenovo Miix 630 comes with either 4 or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS flash storage. While there is no microSD card slot on offer, the 2-in-1 does come with an SD card reader. In terms of imaging, you get a 13MP resolution rear camera and an IR-enabled 5MP resolution webcam with Windows Hello support.

Lenovo Miix 630

Connectivity-wise, the Miix 630 supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, and a Gigabit LTE modem for always-on connectivity. Lenovo says the 2-in-1 can deliver up to 20 hours of video playback at 150 nits brightness. However, when using the built-in LTE modem and performing regular tasks, that number is expected to come down significantly. However, the Miix 630 should still be able to provide better battery life compared to most ultra-portable 2-in-1 notebooks out there. I/O connectivity includes a single USB Type-C port, an SD card reader, and a microphone/headphone jack. On the software front, Lenovo Miix 630 runs on the Windows 10 S operating system and supports Microsoft’s Cortana voice assistant.
