Huawei P20 and P20 Plus flagship smartphones spotted on TENAA


On the 27th of March, Huawei will be holding a press conference in Paris, where it is expected to officially announce the P20 and P20 Plus flagship smartphones along with the mid-range P20 Lite. Ahead of the official unveiling next month, the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus have been spotted on the TENAA website.

The Huawei P20 variants spotted on the TENAA website are the EML-TL100 and EML-AL00. In case you’re wondering, “EML” possibly refers to the codename of the device – Emily. Huawei P20 Plus, which is codenamed Charlotte, has been spotted on TENAA as the CLT-AL00 and CLT-TL00. Unfortunately, the folks over at TENAA are yet to publish any images or detailed specifications of the two smartphones. However, we can expect both images as well as specifications of the P20 and P20 Plus smartphones to be uploaded on the TENAA website in the coming days.

Huawei P20, P20 Plus: Rumored Specifications

The Huawei P20 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch sized display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 and a unique aspect ratio of 19:9. Huawei P20 Plus, on the other hand, is likely to sport a bigger 6-inch display, although the display resolution and aspect ratio remain unconfirmed at this point. According to recently leaked CAD renders, the upcoming smartphones will feature a notch at the top of the display, akin to the one on the iPhone X. Under the hood, Huawei’s flagship P20 series smartphones will be powered by the company’s Kirin 970 octa-core chipset with advanced A.I. capabilities. The two smartphones are also rumored to feature an impressive triple-camera setup at the rear. The three camera sensors at the rear will be laid out vertically, with the LED flash module placed below them. Below the triple-camera setup will be a circular fingerprint sensor.

The Huawei P20, P20 Plus, and P20 Lite smartphones were previously expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain.
