Outside the US and China, the Samsung Galaxy is powered by the Exynos 8895 Octa octa-core (4 x 2.3GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) chip. The OnePlus 5T does offer a dual rear camera array, the same processor as the S8 and also more storage. So in this situation, it does come down to pricing, when choosing the best of these phones for yourself.
