As we all know by now, Samsung is all set to bring out the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at the Mobile World Congress next week in Barcelona. Before the device goes global in front of the world, Flipkart in India has already created a landing page for the upcoming smartphone. The page suggests that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ may also be available for pre-ordering from the day of launch, i.e., February 25, 2018.

The landing page created by Flipkart also carries the caption “coming on 25.02.2018.” It seems that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ may launch as Flipkart exclusives in India. The page also includes several teaser videos of the upcoming phones too, but without revealing any significant detail about them.

Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+: Teaser, rumoured specs and features

The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ teasers infer that the device may come geared with several camera-centric features. The camera on the two phones is already tipped to be adorned with features such as 3D emojis, slow-mo videos, variable aperture and more. Reportedly, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ may also feature dual lens rear camera setup. Other than the camera details, the phones are most likely to come powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9810 chipset in regions outside the US. The variants launched in the US will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are also rumored to feature 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch displays respectively. The aspect ratio on both the handsets is expected to be 18.5:9 bearing QHD resolution. Concerning design, both the smartphones may have the same design as their predecessors, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ that also featured Infinity Display crafted in a bezel-less body. The RAM configuration for both the devices could be 4GB RAM for Galaxy S9 and 6GB RAM for S9+. There also chances that Samsung may offer the S9 in 6GB RAM variant too, at a higher price tag though.

Regarding the fingerprint sensor placement on the Galaxy S9 lineup, Samsung is expected to embed it below the camera sensor on the rear panel.

In another news, Samsung may also launch a new tablet dubbed the Galaxy Tab S4 alongside the Galaxy S9. The new tablet may feature a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen and it may come powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset.
