And most phones in this price segment are attractive and appear to have the same features and specs. Which is why we compare phones, especially ones that people often seem to choose between. Today, we have the Nokia 6, the upcoming Moto E5 Plus, and the Honor 7X from Huawei. Nokia 6 vs Moto E5 Plus vs Honor 7X: Price in India
The Nokia 6 was released in January 2017 and even has a newer variant up for release this year. The device is currently priced at Rs.13,500. The Moto E5 Plus from Motorola has not officially been announced yet — in fact, everything we know about it is based on leaks and rumours, although credible ones. The device is expected to cost Rs.14,000. And lastly, we have the Honor 7X, which launched in December last year and is currently priced at Rs.12,999 for the 32GB ROM variant.

The Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It has a density of 403ppi and also features Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Moto E5 Plus will offer a 5.8-inch LCD display that offers HD resolution, although at an aspect ratio of 18:9. The pixel density of the E5 Plus display will be 287 pixels per inch. The Honor 7X, in comparison, comes with a 5.93-inch IPS LCD screen and offers 1080×2160 at 407ppi. This display, too, has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and is enforced with Gorilla Glass for protection against scratches and mild accidents.
Nokia 6 vs Moto E5 Plus vs Honor 7X: Performance and Battery Life
The Nokia 6 has a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 octa-core 1.4GHz chip under the hood, whereas the Moto E5 Plus is rumoured to be powered by a MediaTek quad-core chipset. Comparatively, the Honor 7X is equipped with a HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor.
The Nokia 6 comes as a 3GB RAM 32GB onboard storage variant, which is exactly the same as the Moto E5 Plus. The Honor 7X too offers the same specifications. The Nokia 6 offers Android Oreo (8.0) and the Motorola Moto E5 Plus is expected to ship with Oreo as well. The Honor 7X comes with EMUI 5.0, which is equivalent to Android Nougat (7.0). But the beta Oreo update for the 7X has been doing the rounds online, so buyers can expect an update soon. In terms of expandable memory, you can add up to 256GB using the hybrid SIM 2 slot on the Nokia 6 and Honor 7X. The Moto E5 Plus will let you add up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the battery front, the Nokia 6 offers a 3000mAh cell whereas the Honor 7X is powered by a 3340mAh battery. The Moto E5 Plus, on the other hand, is equipped with a large 5000mAh power unit.

The Nokia 6 is equipped with a 16MP f/2.0 rear camera, whereas the Moto E5 Plus and Honor 7X both come with dual camera setups on the back. While the Moto E5 Plus will offer a 13MP+2MP combination, the Honor 7X has a 16MP shooter paired with a 2MP lens. All three phones can shoot full HD (1080p) videos at 30 frames per second.
On the front, the Nokia 6 is equipped with an 8MP f/2.0 selfie snapper, which is exactly the same as what the Honor 7X offers. The Moto E5 Plus, in comparison, features a 5MP+2MP dual lens on the front, making a total number of four cameras on this phone.
Nokia 6 vs Moto E5 Plus vs Honor 7X: Verdict
The Honor 7X is the winner for the following reasons: It has a better design, a superior display, and a powerful processor. The Moto E5 Plus comes close but we are going to wait for an official announcement on the processor specs until we decide just how good it is. But for now, it makes a lot of sense to buy the Honor 7X.
