The battle of telcos deserves a comparison to enlighten our readers regarding the prepaid packs offered each of the three major telecom operators in India – Reliance Jio, Vodafone, and Airtel. Let’s take a look at what each company is offering.
Reliance Jio: Cheapest Prepaid Recharge Data Packs with Unlimited Voice Calls and SMS
Starting with Reliance Jio who is responsible for bringing a wave of change in the Indian telecom sector with its affordable pricing and killer strategy involving free 4G for months to every user and unlimited calling. We won’t be exaggerating to crown Reliance Jio as the trendsetter when it comes to cheaper 4G plans. The Mukesh Ambani-led company has taken the entire industry by storm and thus creating a cut-throat competition among major players.
Regarding the prepaid packs offered by Reliance Jio, there is a Rs 19 sachet pack that provides 0.15GB of 4G internet data and after reaching the data limit its internet speed gets capped at 64 Kbps. As for other features, the pack also includes unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls alongside 20 SMSes free of cost. The Reliance Jio sachet pack’s validity is only one day.
Then there is another sachet pack by the company, priced at Rs. 20. It offers 1.05GB of 4G data with a daily limit of 0.15GB data. A suitable plan for those who want to download big files without the fear of running out of data. This plan directly rivals Reliance Jio’s Rs. 19 pack, but with a better data setup.
The company had also launched two new prepaid packs, priced at Rs. 151 and Rs. 158 respectively. The Rs. 151 prepaid pack comes with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, and 1GB of 4G data daily for 18 days. But this plan is currently limited to Kerala telecom circle only.
