Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor has announced the Honor 7C smartphone in China a few days ago. And now, the company is set to launch yet another smartphone, the Honor 7A, in its home market. Honor has announced that the Honor 7A smartphone will be launching in China on April 2nd.
Going by the teaser, its pretty much confirmed that the Honor 7A will feature a dual rear-facing camera setup. However, the other details about the phone isn’t known right now, but we can expect the 7A to have similar specifications as that of the Honor 7 and the Honor 7C.
Honor 7A: Rumored Features, Specifications
The company has been teasing the launch of the Honor 7A, since when the Honor 7C went official i.e. on March 21st, 2018. The Honor 7A is confirmed to sport a fingerprint reader, facial recognition support, dual-SIM card slot, expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB). Additionally, last but not least, the handset will come preloaded with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, with EMUI 8.0 custom user interface. Moving onto the hallmark feature of the phone, the Honor 7A might feature a 5.99-inch display IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution (720×1440 pixels) and 18:9 ratio.
As far as the imaging aspects of the Honor 7A go, it will feature a dual rear-facing camera as mentioned earlier. However, not much is known about its sensors or resolution. We expect the Honor 7A to feature a 13MP+2MP rear-facing dual-camera setup. Connectivity-wise, the phone will have all the common features like dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio port.
Honor 7A: Expected Price
Considering the price of the Honor 7A, it might cost under CNY 1,000 (approximately, Rs. 10,281) in China. Given the competition from other smartphones, the Honor 7A will compete with the recently announced smartphones in the same price segment such as the Redmi Note 5 AI and the Meizu E3 in the Chinese market.
