The Vivo V7 Plus was released in September 2017 and currently carries a price tag of Rs. 19,500. The Nokia 7 Plus, which is due for an Indian release soon, is expected to be priced at Rs. 19,999. The iPhone SE was launched in March 2016, making it just over two years old today. It’s priced at Rs. 18,999 currently.

The Vivo V7 Plus comes with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display and offers a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a density of 269 pixels per inch (ppi). Comparatively, the Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. This phone too has an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a pixel density of 403ppi. The iPhone SE comes with a 4-inch LED-backlit LCD screen and a resolution of 640×1136 pixels at 326ppi. Unlike the other two phones, it offers an aspect ratio of 16:9. It doesn’t feature Gorilla Glass protection either, which the Vivo V7+ and Nokia 7 Plus both offer.

At the heart of the Vivo V7 Plus, is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core 1.8GHz chipset. The Nokia 7 plus is equipped with the far superior Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core (4×2.2GHz + 4×1.8GHz) processor. The iPhone SE, in comparison, features the dual-core Apple A9 1.84GHz chip.
The Vivo V7 Plus runs on the FunTouch Android fork, which is currently at Android 7.1 (Nougat). The Nokia 7 plus, on the other hand, will offer Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box. Being an Android One phone, the Nokia 7+ will definitely have the latest version along with timely updates. The iPhone SE is currently at version 11.2.5 of its iOS operating system.
The Vivo V7 Plus and Nokia 7 Plus both come in 4GB RAM 64GB ROM configurations, whereas the iPhone SE offers 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. Unlike the Android phones which let you add memory cards up to 256GB, the iPhone SE does not support expandable memory.

The Vivo V7 Plus features a 16MP f/2.0 primary camera whereas the Nokia 7 Plus comes with a dual camera (12MP+12MP) setup on the rear which features gyro electronic image stabilisation (EIS), Carl Zeiss optics and dual pixel phase detection autofocus. The iPhone SE, on the other hand, has a 12MP f/2.2 rear shooter which features phase detection autofocus, like the Vivo V7+. While the Nokia 7 Plus and iPhone SE plus both record 4K (2160p) videos at 30 frames per second, the Vivo V7 Plus can only manage full HD (1080p) video recording.
For selfies, the Vivo V7 Plus is equipped with a massive 24MP f/2.0 snapper. The Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 16MP f/2.0 front camera and the iPhone SE has a 1.2MP front shooter.

The Nokia 7 Plus comfortably won this comparison, as it features a superior processor, better camera, display and software, and longer battery life as compared to the other two phones. So we highly recommend waiting for the Nokia 7 Plus if you have a budget of about Rs. 20,000 and were looking at options.
