HMD Global has sent invites to the media for an event in Delhi on 4th April 2018. The company will most likely launch the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and the Nokia 6 (2018) in the event. The chances of the launch of Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia 6 (2018) are high, whereas the launch of the Nokia 8 Sirocco is doubtable.

The Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and the Nokia 6 (2018) were launched during the MWC 2018 event in Spain, Barcelona. Recently, Nokia launched the Nokia 1 Android Oreo Go Edition in India for Rs. 5,499. Nokia has also started selling smartphones and accessories through its official website in India. India is one of the largest markets for the company, which is why Nokia is keen on launching the three new smartphones in India as soon as possible.

Currently, Nokia is selling seven features phones in India, the Nokia 130 Dual SIM, Nokia 216 Dual SIM, Nokia 230 Dual SIM, Nokia 105 Dual SIM, Nokia 105, Nokia 150 Dual SIM, and the Nokia 3310 Dual SIM. Nokia resumed its operations in India last year. So far, the sales of its smartphones aren’t very impressive. The main reason for the unimpressive sales is the high pricing of its smartphones. Also, the entry-level Nokia smartphones aren’t very feature-packed compared to the smartphones from Xiaomi. Nonetheless, Nokia is ramping up with its new and more-feature packed smartphones.
