After launching the Mi TV 4S in China a few days ago, Xiaomi has announced yet another TV in its home market. The company has now launched the Mi TV 4C 50-inch model, which offers the same specifications as that of the other Mi TV 4 models like the 55-inch 4K and 43-inch Full HD TV versions, except that it differs in the screen size. The Mi TV 4C 50-inch features a 50-inch display size with 4K resolution and HDR compatibility. Let’s check out its pricing and availability below.

Mi TV 4C: Price, Availability

The Mi TV 4C 50-inch version is priced at CNY 2,199 (approximately, Rs. 22,720). It will go on sale in China from April 3rd, 2018. Apart from the Mi TV 4C 50-inch and the Mi TV 4S, Xiaomi had also debuted the Mi TV 4A in China which is currently on sale for CNY 1,699 (approximately, Rs. 17,448).

As of now, Xiaomi hasn’t announced whether any of these new TVs would be coming to the Indian market. However, you can keep your expectations higher this year as the Chinese smartphone maker had recently debuted its Mi TV lineup for the Indian market, and it plans to launch a lot of products in India this year.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4C: Features

The newer version of Mi TV 4C comes with a 50-inch IPS LCD display panel offering 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels). Thanks to IPS LCD technology, it has wide viewing angles at 178 degrees. At 9.5ms, dynamic response is good. Furthermore, the TV uses an Amlogic processor with 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and ARM Mali-450 GPU clocked at 750MHz. The processor is mated to 2GB of RAM and 8GB storage, and the TV runs Android operating system-based PatchWall user interface. The PatchWall UI software also offers deep learning AI technology that can show the content based on recommendations.

In terms of connectivity, you get wireless protocols like 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 (with LE), 3 x HDMI ports, 1 x AV ports, 2 x USB ports, and 1 x Ethernet port. The TV also supports video formats including HDR10, H.264, H.265, Real, MPEG1/2/4, WMV3, and VC-1. It also has two 8-watt loudspeakers, and Dolby Audio, DTS, and DTS-HD audio dual-decoding. For navigating around the UI on this TV, you get a Mi Remote Control that offers gesture controls and speech recognition for voice control.
