Redmi 5A vs Nokia 1 vs Redmi Y1 Lite: Price in India, Specifications, Features compared

While most of us smartphone enthusiasts crave for the flagship class, powerful and feature-packed handsets, the harsh reality of life is that not everyone can afford to own them.  Most of us mere mortals have to be satisfied with lower end, sensibly priced handsets that offer us a good balance between performance and affordability. Until a few years ago, getting this combination under a price tag of Rs.10,000 was nigh impossible in India. Things have, however, changed, and today we have a wide selection of handsets under the psychologically important Rs.10,000 mark. Today’s article also incidentally deals with three such mobile phones. In this short article, we will do a specifications comparison between the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, the Nokia 1 and the Redmi Y1 Lite – again from Xiaomi. Let us see how the affordable handsets compare when pit against each other.

To start with, let us talk about the design aspects of these three handsets and also talk about their physical attributes.
