iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition have finally arrived: Specs, features, pricing

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition specs features pricing

Just a few hours had passed since there was a leaked memo that mentioned the announcement of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition. They will be available to purchase in a special red finish which is going to look better than the other finishes because of the new aluminum and glass back of both smartphones.

Having an aluminum and glass back for an iPhone means that it is going to provide support for wireless charging but what is even better is that these devices are going to be available later in the market in a brand new color model for the masses. If you were already getting bored with the colors that Apple was offering to you last year, then you might want to take a peek at the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition right now.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will arrive in two storage versions: Specs, features

Lots of buyers actually wanted Apple to come up with this red model when the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were being announced last year. Though they got their wish, it would have been better had it had been fulfilled much sooner than later.

“This special edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhone features a stunning red and black color combination and also offers customers the opportunity to make an impact in fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS. iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus improve on everything we love about iPhone, including Retina HD displays that are more beautiful than ever, the most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone with the A11 Bionic and more advanced cameras for unbelievable photos and videos. We are proud to support (RED) with this bold new iPhone and hope customers think it is as special as we do.”

Both iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition feature an aluminum band and black front, improving the look of both smartphones to a massive extent. They will be available in both the 64 and 256GB storage models. The 64GB model might have been added for those users who do not believe they would actually need the extra storage.

Plus, Apple would probably want to think about increasing its sales and that would not have been possible if only the 256GB model was added. The specifications are not different than the ones you will find on the remaining iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus versions.

Both phones feature the same A11 Bionic chipset, with the same camera specifications and hardware. The advantage of owning these devices is that while the headphone jack is still missing, you can wirelessly charge the smartphone through a Qi wireless charging pad and use the bundled dongle to listen to media.
