Update (13th April, 2018 @ 3:00PM): All three variants of the newly launched Thomson TVs went out of stock on Flipkart after today’s flash sale. Next sale date for the TVs is 18th April, 2018, and the sale will happen at 12 PM.

Thomson has re-entered the Indian TV market nearly 15 years after it left the country. The company has launched three new TVs for the Indian market – 32-inch HD Smart TV, 43-inch Full HD Smart TV, and a 43-inch 4K UHD Smart TV. All the three models run on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system and ship with the Aptoide store to allow users to download their favorite apps. Thomson will be selling its Smart TVs in India exclusively on Flipkart via the flash sale method. The first flash sale will begin exactly at 12 PM IST today.

Thomson LED Smart TVs: Price in India, Offers

The most affordable of the three models is, of course, the 32-inch model. Thomson LED Smart TV B9 32-inch has been priced at Rs.13,499, making it significantly more affordable than many of its rivals. It is also Rs.500 cheaper compared to the 32-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 4A. Next, we have the 40-inch Thomson LED Smart TV B9 that costs Rs.19,999. It takes on the 43-inch Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4A, which is priced at Rs.22,999 in India. Finally, we have the 43-inch Thomson LED Smart TV UD9 with a 4K UHD panel. The TV has been priced at Rs.27,999, making it one of the most affordable 4K TVs on the market currently. While Xiaomi doesn’t sell a 43-inch 4K TV in India, the 55-inch Mi TV 4 4K TV (full review) is priced at Rs.39,999. Unfortunately, there are no exciting launch offers available on these new Thomson televisions. Flipkart is only offering a 5% discount with Axis Bank Buzz credit cards. However, the maximum discount per card is capped at Rs.200. You will also get free installation and wall mount with all the models.

Thomson LED Full HD Smart TV B9 40-inch (40TM4099): Specifications, Features

It is no different from the 32-inch model in the connectivity department either. Video formats supported by the TV include AVI, MPG, DAT, VOB, DIV, MOV, MKV, and RM. Rest of the key features remain identical to the 32-inch model.

Thomson LED Ultra HD Smart TV UD9 43-inch (43TM4377): Specifications, Features

When it comes to memory, however, the 43-inch model is identical to the smaller models. Some of the other key features that it shares with its more affordable siblings include 20W speakers, Miracast Connectivity, and an RF capable remote control. All three models also come with a Sports Mode that is claimed to improve your live sports viewing experience. They also include an SD card reader.
