Xiaomi Mi 6X: Features, Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi 6X features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution (1080×2160 pixels), 18:9 aspect ratio, and minimal bezels around the display. This is quite similar to the screen used in the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It uses a metal build, measuring 158.88×75.54×7.3mm. In terms of camera, the Mi 6X will have a dual-camera setup at its rear, consisting of a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 primary sensor (ƒ/1.8 aperture) with phase-detection autofocus and a 20MP Sony IMX376 secondary sensor (ƒ/2.2 aperture). There’s a dual-tone LED flash between the two camera sensors. It can also record 4K videos, similar to what the Mi 5X was capable of. At the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera which can also record 1080p videos.

The Mi 6X runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI interface, and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The chipset uses eight Kryo 260 CPU cores and Adreno 512 GPU, making it much faster than the Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the Mi 5X (and the Mi A1). It will come in various memory configurations: 4GB RAM+32GB storage, 4GB RAM+64GB storage, 6GB RAM+64GB storage, and 6GB RAM+128GB storage. There will be a microSD card slot for storage expansion. If the microSD card slot isn’t being used, it can be used for secondary SIM card. Connectivity wise, it will feature A-GPS, GLONASS, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, IR port, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone port. The phone will come packed with a 2910mAh battery with support for Quick Charge.
