Nokia 7 Plus Top 5 Features: Price in India, Specifications, Features, Offers

Last month, HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 Plus mid-range Android smartphone in the Indian market along with the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 6 (2018). The mid-range handset went on sale in India earlier this week, with Amazon India being the exclusive online retail partner. You can also purchase the Nokia 7 Plus from the company’s newly launched Nokia Shop online. In this post, we are going to take a look at the top 5 features of the Nokia 7 Plus that make it arguably the best Android smartphone available around the Rs.25,000 mark in the Indian market currently.

Nokia 7 Plus: Top 5 Features

  1. The top feature of the Nokia 7 Plus is undoubtedly the impressive 12MP + 13MP dual-camera system on the back of the smartphone. Both the 12MP primary and 13MP secondary sensors on the Nokia 7 Plus are paired with ZEISS optics and deliver 2x optical zoom along with impressive low-light performance. In terms of video, the mid-range smartphone can capture up to 4K resolution footage at 30 fps. The 16MP selfie camera on the front is mighty impressive as well, paired ZEISS optics.
  2. The second key feature of the Nokia 7 Plus is the large 6-inch Full HD+ resolution display. HMD has used an IPS LCD panel on the Nokia 7 Plus with a claimed static contrast ratio of 1500:1 and 1080 x 2160 resolution. Protecting the display is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The glass on top is laminated and polarized as well. Unlike some of its key rivals, the Nokia 7 Plus display does not have a notch on the top, which can be considered to be an advantage if you hate the idea of notches on smartphone displays.
  3. Now let’s move on to the third most impressive feature of the Nokia 7 Plus, the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood. The Nokia 7 Plus is more powerful than almost all of its main rivals thanks to it being powered by a 14nm Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz and an Adreno 512 GPU. So if performance is what you are looking for in your next smartphone, the Nokia 7 Plus certainly fits the bill.
  4. The fourth standout feature of the Nokia 7 Plus is its software. As announced by HMD Global at MWC 2018, the Nokia 7 Plus is an Android One smartphone. That means the Nokia 7 Plus will receive regular security updates as well as two years of OS upgrades. It ships with a limited number of pre-installed apps from the factory and offers unlimited high-quality photos storage with Google Photos.
  5. The fifth key feature of the Nokia 7 Plus is its battery life. Not only is the Nokia 7 Plus more powerful than all of its main rivals, it also packs a larger battery. HMD has packed a relatively large 3800mAh battery inside the Nokia 7 Plus. It comes with USB Type-C fast charging as well, which means you can expect the smartphone’s battery to be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
