The 6GB RAM+64GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro is available for Rs 16,999 while its 4GB+64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 14,999. For those who are not aware, the 4GB RAM model of the Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched at Rs. 13,999 but Xiaomi recently hiked its pricing by 1K to suffice the incredibly high demand for the phone.

The Nokia 6 (2018) is launched in a single 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant, which is priced at 16,999 in India. The Nokia X, on the other hand, is yet to come out of the veil, but rumours suggest that it may launch under the 20k price segment.

Let’s start with the display specs of all the three smartphones, the Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD LCD screen bearing 1080×1920 pixels resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and PPI density score of 403. The Redmi Note 5 Pro, on the contrary, comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ LCD IPS display with 2160×1080 pixels resolution and pixel density of 403ppi. The Nokia X is rumoured to feature a 5.8-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ 2280×1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.

In this segment, both the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Nokia X surface as the winners with better resolution and screen size.

Under the hood, the Nokia 6 (2018) is powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone runs stock Android Oreo OS as it is part of Google’s Android One program. A 3000mAh battery backs the device with support for fast charging.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB storage, based on the variant. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based MIUI 9. A 4000mAh battery backs the Redmi Note 5 Pro although it supports QuickCharge 2.0 technology, it lacks fast charger in the box.

Lastly, the Nokia X is expected to come in two variants, powered by Snapdragon 636 processor and MediaTek Helio P60 processor, respectively. The SD636 SoC variant may pack 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage while the MediaTek Helio P60 processor might feature 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It might come backed by a 3500mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Both the Nokia X and Redmi Note 5 Pro take the cake in this segment too. The Nokia 6 (2018) falls short on the SoC, RAM, and storage.
