Mi TV 4, Mi TV 4A Flash Sale Today on Flipkart, Mi Store at 12 PM: Price in India, Offers, Specifications, Features

It is that time of the week again when two models of the hugely popular Mi TV 4 and the Mi TV 4A series go on their weekly flash sale. The TVs are set to go on sale today at 12 pm on both Mi’s own website as well as Flipkart. This will be the second sale of the Mi TV 4 since Xiaomi decided to hike its price by Rs.5,000 a few days ago. The price hike, which was also observed on the Redmi Note 5 series was attributed to rise in import costs and to make sure more units of the devices are available for purchase during each flash sale. Note that the prices of the Mi TV 4A series have not been hiked and only the price of the most expensive Mi TV 4 model – the 55-inch version – sees a jump from Rs.39,999 to Rs. 44,999.

Let us now take a quick glance at the specifications and features of the Mi TV 4 and the Mi TV 4A series.

Mi TV 4: Price in India, Offers

As mentioned earlier in this article, Xiaomi has hiked the price of the 55-inch version of the TV by Rs.5,000. The current price of the TV stands at Rs.44,999. The reason for the increase as explained by Xiaomi officially is that they need to ramp up supply to meet the incredibly high demand for the TV. To ensure this happens, they will need to import a significant amount of PCBAs. The company’s current local production capacity of PCBA’s is restricted at this point and cannot ramp up more before the end of Q3 2018. Additionally, since there has been changes to the track structure on PCBA imports, Xiaomi has seen the production cost of the TV rise in the past few months.
