Nvidia quietly starts selling graphics cards through its official website in India

Nvidia has started selling graphics cards through its official Indian website. The website currently has all the 10-series and Titan GPUs on sale including the GTX 1080Ti, GTX 1080, GTX 1070Ti, GTX 1070, GTX 1060, GTX 1050Ti, GTX 1050, and the Titan Xp. Nvidia is offering free shipping on all the graphics cards listed on the website; it has a 7-day delivery policy. Users can also opt for GSTIN number while purchasing the GPUs, making it easier for the users who need GST invoice. Nvidia is currently accepting MasterCard, Visa, and American Express for payment.

The big news, however, is the price of the 10-series graphics card on the Nvidia’s website. Currently, the GTX 1080Ti is selling for around Rs. 70,000 through offline and online stores, but Nvidia is selling it for just Rs. 57,000 through its official website. Same goes for the other GPUs; the GTX 1080 is listed for Rs. 45,000, the GTX 1070Ti is listed for Rs. 37,500, the GTX 1070 is listed for Rs. 33,000, and the GTX 1060 is listed for Rs. 24,000. Nvidia is selling all the GPUs on its website for a much lower price than what they cost in the other offline and online stores.

All the graphics card sold on Nvidia’s website come with the standard Nvidia reference cooler design. The reference design cooler has a single fan that blows the hot air outside of the case, unlike the coolers on the cards from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and Zotac, which tend to throw air inside the case. The reference design cooler is suitable for cases that are low on space and air flow. The graphics cards also have the unique Nvidia design with a silver finish at the top, setting them apart from the crowd.

We contacted Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director, Asia South, Nvidia for a comment on the matter, but we haven’t received any response from him at the time of publishing this article. Nvidia selling graphics card through its official website comes as a boon for consumers as the prices are very less, and the availability isn’t an issue either. Nvidia has also listed the GEFORCE GTX BATTLEBOX gaming rig on its Indian website, and it is possible that Nvidia might soon start selling it.
