The opening keynote of WWDC will be taking place at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET on June 4 in San Jose of California. It is expected that Apple will launch iOS 12, macOS 10.14, watchOS 5 and tvOS 12 at WWDC 2018.
The chosen venue for this event is the McEnery Convention Center. This is the place where Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) of Apple is usually held. The developer sessions on latest platform technologies of Apple is planned for the week from June 4 to June 6. The opening keynote will be the first platform on which Apple will be introducing its recent platform changes.
WWDC 2018: Expected Launches
As per speculation, MacOS 10.14, iOS 12, Watch OS 5, and tvOS 12 are expected to be unveiled on June 4. In addition to those mentioned above, it is also expected that the improvisations done to the HomePod and Siri will also be announced. The public beta version is planned to be released a few weeks later, which is followed by the release of developer beta versions of Apple’s new iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Tv, and Apple Watch software on the same day. The final releases are planned to be held in the month of September.
It is to be noted that previous year WWDC opening keynote of Apple launched new iMac along with the new MacBook Pro. The keynote also included the preview of the HomePod and iMac Pro. Although the hardware expectation is not much this year, it is rumored that Retina 13-inch MacBook can be expected in the later months of the year. However, the planned launches and updates of Apple’s progenies can be known in few days’ time.
