Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 5X successor, the Mi 6X in China last month. Initially, the device was released in only 4GB/6GB RAM version that packed 64GB/128GB internal storage. Now, the company has unveiled a more affordable version of the Mi 6X that comes with the same 4GB of RAM, but with lesser storage at 32GB. The other specs of the phone remain intact, which means that it still features a 5.99-inch display, Snapdragon 660 chipset, and dual camera setup and a 3010mAh battery.

The Mi 6X 32GB storage variant priced at CNY 1500 (approx. Rs. 15,804). However, you can get it for a discounted price of up to CNY 1400 (approx. Rs. 14,751), thanks to Xiaomi‘s 8-year anniversary in China. Currently, the device is exclusive to the Chinese market, and there is no information regarding its launch in the Indian smartphone market.
Xiaomi Mi 6X: Features, Specifications
As mentioned above, the 32GB version of the Mi 6X retains the same specs as the standard version. The Mi 6X comes with a 5.99-inch display with 1080×2160 pixels Full HD+ resolution at 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch and 1500:1 static contrast ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with Adreno 512 GPU. It packs either 4GB or 6GB RAM and has 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage, based on the variant. The phone runs Android 8.1 operating system out of the box with customised MIUI 9.5 on top.
For optics, the Mi 6X uses a dual camera setup that consists of dual 12MP + 20MP sensors. Both of these camera sensors utilise f/1.75 aperture lenses. The front-facing camera is of 20MP that uses Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.0 aperture lens, AI Smart Beauty 4.0, AI Scene recognition, and bokeh effect. The Mi 6X packs a 3010 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. The smartphone is available in Cherry Pink, Sand Gold, Flame RedGlacier Blue, and Black colour options.
