A few days ago, OPPO started teasing its legendary Find series of smartphones, and mentioned that it will bring more devices in the high-end smartphone series. The Chinese smartphone brand even revealed the name of the handset that it is going to be launched soon: OPPO Find X.
Now, the renders of this OPPO Find X have surfaced on Weibo. The images shows off the phone’s design in full glory. Although the launch date of the phone hasn’t been specified by the company yet, rumoured specifications list of the handset has made its way to Chinese social networking website Weibo. Here’s what the OPPO Find X might look like.

Going by these leaked images, we can see that the phone uses a glass-and-metal design, and that the rear panel has a textured design. We can’t see a fingerprint reader, either at the front or the rear. So, we can expect an in-screen fingerprint reader, especially since multiple phones have now been released or showcased with such biometric readers. OPPO’s sister brand Vivo has already started implementing in-screen fingerprint readers in its smartphones.
The OPPO Find X renders show us that the smartphone will be equipped with a dual-camera setup at the. The sensors will be aligned in a vertical fashion. Just below these two camera sensors, we can see an LED flash. Moving onto the front of the smartphone, there’s a small-size notch present at the top of the screen. If you look at the renders carefully, you can see that the phone has borrowed much of the design as that of newly announced OnePlus 6. A blue-coloured light bar is visible at the bottom of the phone, and there’s a possibility that it can change its colour.
OPPO Find X: Rumoured Features, Specifications
The Find X is rumoured to come with 3D facial recognition, similar to what we’ve seen with the Apple iPhone X and recently launched Mi 8. As far as the specifications of the device go, they were released by a Weibo user. It is being rumoured that the Find X will sport a 6.42-inch QHD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
Some rumours claim that the phone will make use of OPPO’s dual-camera technology with 5x optical zoom that was unveiled during the MWC 2018 expo. The smartphone could be powered by a 4000mAh battery, and will support VOOC fast charging technology.
