Motorola Launches New Camera App Integrated With Google Photos

The latest Moto Camera update has been limited only to the Moto devices released in the year 2018


Motorola has enabled new camera features in all its newly launched devices. Moto Camera App is now revamped with some new exciting features. The devices that will be carrying these updates are Moto C, Moto E, Moto G, Moto M, Moto X, Moto Z, Moto Max and Moto Turbo series. According to the reports, the user interface of Moto camera has been given a makeover in the recently launched Motorola phones. In addition to the enhanced user interface, integration of Google Lens and Google Photos has been enabled.

It is to be noted that this new update has been announced just after the launch of its smartphone Moto Z3 Play in the United States. Although Moto Z3 has not been launched into the Indian market, it did see the launch of Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play. The new update of Moto Camera has been limited only to the Moto devices released in the year 2018.

New Moto Camera App: Features

The new update will mark the snaps with a watermark as Best Shot and as Portrait mode. The zooming activity is effectively revamped so that the user can use single finger upward and downward to zoom in and out of the images. Besides enhanced zooming, there is also a “drag to focus” option to modify the exposure of the image environment. A lot of improvements are made to the user interface of both front and rear side cameras with the needed software updates and combined setting options installed. According to the reports of change-log, the bugs are fixed and the stability is much improved after the update of Moto Camera. It also mentioned that the software lets the device to have an inbuilt Google Lens feature and YouTube Live feature.

As has been noted, the users of new Moto devices may no longer need to sign into Google Photos or call for Google Assistant for enabling Google Lens feature. Their camera is now inbuilt with Google Lens feature. Also, the update enables the user to upload live YouTube streaming without peeking into the YouTube App.
