Airtel Launches New Infinity Plans: Offers Extra Data which Rolls Over, Revise Prices of Data Cards and More

telecom giant Airtel has dropped new Infinity Plans packing extra data that rolls over to the next bill, improved voice plans and cost-effective offers on data cards. Just yesterday, Reliance Jio came up with a revised data plan to live stream FIFA World Cup 2018 and India-Afghanistan test match series. The latest offering from Airtel is not exactly a take on Jio but the revised plans are certainly meant to woo potential subscribers.

Airtel Infinity Plans: Unlimited Voice with Data Roll Over

The Infinity Plans with unlimited voice and data roll over options has eight different recharge plans starting from Rs. 299 to Rs. 2999.

Rs. 299 Plan: This plan offers 5GB data and unlimited calling benefits that includes both local and STD voice calls. Additionally, it packs 100 free SMSes on a daily basis.


Rs. 399 Plan: Now, for an extra 100 bucks on your budget, this plan gives you a whopping 20GB with a roll over option. The plan comes with unlimited voice calling (local, STD) option and offers 100 free SMSes daily.

Rs. 499 Plan: Offering 40GB of total data, this plan also comes with a data roll over option, unlimited voice calling and 100 free SMSes per day.

Rs. 799 Plan: 60GB data that can roll over, unlimited voice calling option, and 100 free SMSes per day are packed in this cost-effective infinity plan.

Rs. 1199 Plan: This plan offers 90GB of total data that can roll over, voice calling benefits, both local and STD. The plan packs 100 free SMSes to be used on a daily basis.

Rs. 1599 Plan: With a whopping 150GB data offering, this plan comes with unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMSes per day. The data roll over option holds validity for this plan as well.

Rs. 1999 Plan: This plan gives you 200GB of total data with a roll over option along with unlimited voice calling benefits (local, STD). This plan also packs 100 free SMSes to be used on a per day basis.

Rs. 2999 Plan: Unlimited voice calling incentives, 100 free SMSes per day and massive 300GB data is what you get with this infinity plan from Airtel. Needless to mention, it comes with a data roll over option.

All the above plans from Airtel come with an added benefit of unlimited incoming and outgoing on national roaming calls.

Airtel Infinity Plans: Data Card Plans

The data card plans are revised with price cut effective on all the plans. The plan with an old price point of Rs. 499 is now available for Rs. 399; the one with a price ticket of Rs. 699 can be availed for Rs. 599; and the data card plan for Rs. 999 now sells for Rs. 799. The total data offered by the new Rs. 399 plan sums up to 65GB with 5GB base plan and an additional 2GB per day. The Rs. 599 Plan offers a total of 128GB with 8GB base plan and 4GB additional data per day. If you go for the new Rs. 799 plan, it offers you 192GB total data with 12GB base plan and 6GB additional data per day. All the data card plans here do not offer voice calling benefits or free SMSes. Furthermore, when you exhaust your base additional daily data limit, you move to the base plan; and post the base plan consumption, the speed is reduced to 80Kbps. Note that you need to have a 4G device in order to avail the additional data benefits.

Airtel Infinity Plans: PRI Plans

The revised PRI plans from Airtel include SPL. PRI 10,000, SPL. PRI 12,000, and SPL. PRI 16000, the plan title mentioning the respective rental and FCV costs. The number of channels per PRI remains 30 for all the three plans. The pulse per duration rate (local) is Re.0.40ps/ 60 Seconds for the first two plans and it reduces to 0.35p/60sec for the last one. On the other hand, the overall pulse per duration rate is Re.0.55ps/ 60 Seconds for the first two and 0.50p/60sec for SPL. PRI 16000. The applied STD rates for all the plans are standard with varying PBX sponsorship options.
