Logitech G512 Gaming Keyboard With GX Blue Switch: Specifications, Features

The new Logitech G512 mechanical gaming keyboard derives its design from the award-winning Logitech G413 and G513 keyboards. It is available with a choice of three key switches – Tactile, Linear, and GX Blue. Logitech’s Tactile key switches provide discernible actuation for gamers looking for direct feedback, while the Linear key switch delivers a smooth keystroke. The new GX Blue key switch delivers an audible “click” feedback during actuation.

As you would expect from a modern gaming keyboard, the new G512 comes with RGB illumination powered by Logitech G’s LIGHTSYNC technology. Users can customize the lighting as per their preference using the free Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).

In terms of design, the Logitech G512 mechanical gaming keyboard boasts an anodized and brushed aircraft-grade 5052 aluminum top case that is claimed to offer high durability as well. For 100 percent power throughout, the integrated USB cable connects the USB 2.0 passthrough port to its own input. The Logitech G512 is available in a single Carbon (Black) finish.

Logitech also announced that it will be providing users early access to its new software experience named G Hub. The company hopes to eventually replace the Logitech Gaming Software with the new G Hub. It will offer similar functionality and benefits as the Logitech Gaming Software but with a more refined user-interface and some enhanced capabilities.
