The latest OS update for the Nokia 7 Plus is rolling out via the OTA route in India, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands. Since the update only includes the June Android security patch, the latest OTA update weighs in at just 87.4MB in terms of size. As such, you can download the update over cellular data as well. However, it is still recommended that you download it over a Wi-Fi network and make sure that the device has at least 50% battery charge left before you install the update. If you haven’t received any update notification on your Nokia 7 Plus yet, you can try looking for the update manually by heading over to the Settings Menu.

Nokia 7 Plus: Price in India, Offers

It comes in two color variants – White / Copper and Black / Copper. While the smartphone is currently out of stock on Amazon.in, you can purchase it online from the Nokia Shop as well as via any major offline smartphone retail store near you. Airtel subscribers who purchase the Nokia 7 Plus will also be eligible to receive a free subscription to Airtel TV till December 31, 2018. Nokia 7 Plus: Specifications, Features

The Nokia 7 Plus sports a 6.0-inch IPS LCD display panel with 1080 x 2160 Full HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Protecting the display is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. While the Nokia 7 Plus doesn’t have an extremely impressive screen-to-body ratio like the Vivo V9 or the OPPO F7, the smartphone does have an edge over most of its rivals when it comes to performance. The handset runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with an Adreno 512 GPU. In the memory department, the mid-range smartphone includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, HMD Global has gone with a Hybrid Dual-SIM configuration, which might make it a little difficult for some users to expand the storage further.

Moving on to optics, the Nokia 7 Plus features a 12MP + 13MP dual-camera setup on the back with Zeiss optics, 2x optical zoom, and EIS. The 12MP primary sensor is coupled with a large f/1.8 aperture and claims to deliver impressive low-light performance. In terms of video, the smartphone can capture 4K resolution videos at 30fps. With the new Pro Mode in the camera app, you can adjust the white balance, focus, ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation to capture fantastic images using the dual-camera setup. On the front is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture ZEISS optics. Face Unlock is supported as well.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, USB Type-C, and 4G VoLTE. Keeping the lights on is a large 3800mAh capacity battery with 18W fast charging support. The smartphone also comes with a fingerprint sensor, mounted on the back of the handset. In terms of physical dimensions, Nokia 7 Plus measures 158.4 x 75.6 x 8mm and weighs in at 183 grams. The Android One smartphone ships with the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and is guaranteed to receive two major OS upgrades along with regular security updates from Google.
