Xiaomi introduced the Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6A smartphones a few days back in China. However, the company did not announce the Redmi 6 Pro at the event, which was rumoured to debut at the same event. Well, we reported exclusively that the Redmi 6 Pro exists and is launching soon. Now, two new Xiaomi handsets have been granted the FCC certification with the model number as M1804C3CG/M1804C3DG. While no specific details are available as of now the FCC listing does suggest that they will be running MIUI 9 out of the box.

According to details exposed earlier, Xiaomi also might announce the Mi Max 3 and the Mi Pad 4 Tablet in July. Chances are that we can also see the unveiling of these FCC certified handsets in July itself if the company plans to release them soon. For now, let’s have a look at some of the handsets which Xiaomi is working on currently:

Speaking about the Redmi 6 Pro first, the details revealed by TENAA last month had mentioned that the phone will sport a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the handset is supposed to be fueled by an octa-core 2.0GHz processor and might come in three different RAM and storage configurations. For the very base model, the handset is said to pack 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM, whereas the other two variants might ship with 3GB/4GB RAM along with 32GB/64GB storage respectively. In the optics department, the Redmi 6 Pro might feature a 12MP + 5MP dual-camera setup. The entire package might be powered by a 4000mAh battery that might have fast charging support.

Moving onto the specs of the Mi Max 3, it is said to feature a taller 6.99-inch IPS LCD display that might have an 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset is believed to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 710 chipset, which might come paired with 6GB of RAM. The Mi Max 3 is expected to feature a dual-camera setup whose primary sensor could be a 20-megapixel unit. It might run Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with the MIUI 9 customisation on top.

As far as the specs of the Mi Pad 4 are concerned, it might feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display panel. It is supposed to pack a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and a massive 6000mAh battery. That being said, these are the only phones which we expect Xiaomi to announce in the next month. Additionally, we also see the launch of the above FCC certified handsets making their debut along with the above-mentioned devices. For now, we recommend you to stay tuned with us, as we will be reporting the details if Xiaomi schedules any event in the upcoming days for the launch of some new smartphones.
