Last week, Vivo introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the NEX S and NEX A at an event held in China. While the manufacturer did not share any plans of launching the two smartphones in markets outside China at the launch event, a new report has claimed that the Vivo NEX will be arriving in India next month.

Vivo NEX A, NEX S: Launch Date in India Confirmed?

An exclusive report published by 91Mobiles claims Vivo is planning its flagship NEX smartphone in India in the third week of July. However, the report hasn’t confirmed if Vivo will be bringing both the NEX S and NEX A models to India or if only the NEX A, which is the Snapdragon 710-powered model, will be making its way here.

While Vivo had previously shied from launching its premium models in India, concentrating only on the budget and mid-range segments. Last month, the company launched its first premium product in India, the X21.

Vivo NEX A, NEX S: Expected Price in India

The report claims the NEX A variant will be priced in India at Rs.40,000. That’s roughly Rs.4,000 higher than what the Vivo X21 costs in India. If the Vivo NEX S is also launched in India, we would expect it to be priced upwards of Rs.50,000. It would also be the first true flagship smartphone launched by Vivo in India, powered by the same Snapdragon 845 chipset that powers the majority of Android flagship smartphones released this year.
