Huawei P20 Pro Latest Software Update: What’s New

According to users on XDA Developers forum, the update is arriving as firmware version B131 and focusses mainly on camera improvements. After you install the update on your Huawei P20 Pro, you will notice that the smartphone will have gained the ability to detect motion and automatically start capturing in the super slow motion mode, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones. Previously, users wanting to capture slow-motion shots had to manually hit the recording button, which could sometimes prove to be quite tricky. In addition to the camera-specific changes, the update offers power consumption optimization for longer usage, improved system performance and stability, and optimized wallpaper display. Finally, the update brings the latest Android security patch dated June 1, 2018.
