OPPO Find X Lamborghini Special Edition: Price, Availability

The OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition has been priced at a whopping 1,699 euros (Rs.1,33,800 approx.). That’s significantly higher than the 999 euro price tag of the regular Find X. While we do know that OPPO is launching the Find X in India on July 12, it remains to be seen if the company will be bringing the Find X Lamborghini Special Edition as well. OPPO Find X Lamborghini Special Edition: Specifications, Features

OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition

The OPPO Find X Lamborghini Special Edition comes with a special carbon fiber back, giving it an even more premium look compared to the regular Find X. As you would expect, the back of the smartphone comes with the Lamborghini logo. As you can see in the image above, the OPPO logo is placed towards the top of the handset, while the Lamborghini logo is placed towards the bottom. As far as key specs are concerned, the Find X Lamborghini Special Edition is similar to the regular Find X, except for two major differences. The special edition ships with a massive 512GB of onboard storage and comes with the OPPO Super VOOC Flash Charge technology, which is claimed to charge the handset’s 3400mAh battery from 0 to 100 in just 35 minutes. Rest of the specifications, however, are identical to the regular Find X.

The Find X Lamborghini Edition features a 6.42-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to the unique camera slider design, the smartphone boasts an impressive 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, higher than all other Android flagship smartphones released so far. Under the hood, it runs on a 10nm octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM. In terms of imaging, the Find X Lamborghini Edition has a 16MP + 20MP AI dual-camera setup at the back and a 25MP selfie camera on the front with O-Face facial recognition technology. Connectivity-wise, the OPPO Find X Lamborghini Special Edition supports all the latest standards such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and 4G VoLTE. In terms of size, the smartphone measures 156.7 x 74.3 x 9.4mm and weighs in at 186 grams. On the software front, the flagship smartphone will ship with the Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box.

OPPO Find X Lamborghini Special Edition: What is Super VOOC Technology?

OPPO had first showcased its Super VOOC technology at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. It can be considered to be an evolution of the VOOC Flash Charge technology that the brand introduced in 2014. When it showcased the technology at MWC 2016, the company claimed that it was able to achieve rapid charging speeds by using a 5V low-voltage pulse-charge algorithm, which ensures a low temperature charge that maintains safety and dynamically regulates the current to charge the smartphone in the shortest possible time. Along with the new algorithm, OPPO also uses a new adapter, cable, and connector all made from military-grade materials. As we mentioned above, the new Find X Lamborghini Special Edition’s 3400mAh capacity battery can be charged all the way up to the 100% mark in just 35 minutes, much faster than other fast charging technologies currently on the market.
