Panasonic P90: Price in India, Availability

The Panasonic P90 has been priced at Rs.5,599 and can now be purchased from all leading smartphone retailers across the country. It is available in three colors – Black, Blue, and Gold.

Panasonic P90: Specifications, Features

The Panasonic P90 sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 HD resolution and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against scratches. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz. In terms of memory, the entry-level Panasonic smartphone features 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. For further expansion, the smartphone includes a microSD card slot that will accept up to 128GB microSD cards.

When it comes to optics, the Panasonic P90 features a 5MP AF rear camera with an LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera with an LED flash. Camera features on offer include Panorama, Beauty Mode, HDR mode, live filters, and more. Connectivity standards supported by the latest Panasonic entry-level Android smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, FM radio, USB OTG and 4G VoLTE. Most entry-level Android smartphones aren’t very impressive in the battery life department and the Panasonic P90 is no exception. The handset is fueled by a 2400mAh capacity battery, which is roughly on par with most of the competition. As for software, the smartphone has been launched with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. Since it is an entry-level device and Panasonic doesn’t have a great track record of delivering regular software updates, we don’t think the P90 will be receiving an update to Android 8.0 Oreo. That’s not really a deal-breaker though, as most other entry-level smartphones also run on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS currently. The Panasonic P90 comes with USB OTG support as well, which lets user connect the smartphone to devices like pen drives, keypad, external mouse, and even game consoles.
