Amazon India has rolled out a monthly Prime Subscription Plan for its customers. Priced at Rs. 129, the Amazon Prime Subscription Plan comes with a few catches. Also, this is the first monthly plan for Amazon Prime subscription. Until now, there was only a yearly plan of Rs. 999 (Rs. 499 earlier) for the Prime membership.

The most interesting aspect of the newly-launched monthly subscription plan is that the users can subscribe to this plan only using credit or debit card, the reason being the auto-renew feature offered by the cards. Furthermore, the debit card option comes with constraints as well. The debit cards are only limited to HDFC or ICICI banks, for the time being. The company will auto-renew the monthly subscription of Rs 129 plan at the end of every 30 days via the original payment method. Amazon India also confirms that the users will be notified three days prior to the auto-renew date every month. And if the customer no longer wishes to continue the Prime services, they can simply go to the e-commerce portal and cancel the subscription manually. The newly launched monthly plan packs the same benefits as the existing yearly plan that includes faster deliveries, Amazon Prime Video & Amazon Music subscription. Furthermore, the prime subscription members get exclusive access to offers and deals during the Amazon sale days.


Amazon Prime Membership: How to Subscribe?

If you are interested in subscribing to the monthly Prime membership plan worth Rs. 129, you can head right over to Amazon app and choose to subscribe it. You can also go to the Amazon Prime link and subscribe to the monthly plan using your credit card or HDFC or ICICI debit card, and make a payment of Rs 129 to enjoy the prime membership for a month. You can choose to continue with the services or you can go to the same link and cancel your subscription anytime you wan

Prime subscription proves to be extremely useful during sale offers from the e-commerce platform because the company introduces the enticing deals to its Prime members first, at times (depending on the deal). Not to forget, there are Prime Day offers every year, exclusive to Amazon Prime membership users. Early Access: At the time of sale, being an Amazon Prime member works wonders. All the prime members are granted 30-minutes early access to some of the Lightning Deals on the e-commerce website. In order for the Prime user to find those deals, there will be labels of Prime Early Access on select Deals and also the product detail pages. Additionally, if a Lightning Deal is also Prime Early Access deal, it will be mentioned on the “Add to Cart” box on product detail page as well.
