Apart from the notch on the front, the Redmi 6 Pro is actually very similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro in terms of the design.  Xiaomi’s latest Redmi smartphone runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz with an Adreno 506 GPU, similar to the Redmi Y2 and the Redmi Note 5. The smartphone does feature a fingerprint sensor as well, positioned on the back. Keeping the lights on is a large 4000mAh capacity battery, so you can expect great battery life. Redmi 6 Pro: Expected Price in India, Launch Date

As we reported recently, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is going to be launched in India along with the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones within two months. No specific launch date has been confirmed yet, although we can expect Xiaomi to begin teasing the three smartphones a few days before the launch event.

As for the price, we expect the Redmi 6 Pro to start at Rs.12,999 in India, which means the smartphone is going to be positioned between the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones in the Indian market. While the hardware specifications of the Redmi 6 Pro aren’t as impressive as the Redmi Note 5 Pro’s, it does offer several key advantages over the Redmi Note 5, which could make it one of Xiaomi’s most popular devices in India in the future.
