After announcing the most appealing Vivo NEX smartphone, Vivo now seems to be gearing for the launch of a few more smartphones. Currently, two new Vivo smartphones are certified by Chinese certification authority TENAA, carrying the model numbers V1803BA and V1730DT. The duo shares the same specs sheet and features a dual camera setup at the back along with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. These upcoming offerings from Vivo will sport a 6.2-inch tall aspect ratio display, 4GB of RAM, and will run on the Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box. Vivo V1803BA/V1730DT: Rumoured Features
Going by the details revealed by the TENAA listing, the Vivo V1803BA will measure 155.21 × 75.24 × 7.7mm in terms of dimensions and will weigh around 152 grams, whereas the V1730DT will measure 154.81×75.03×7.89mm with 149 grams weight. They will feature a taller 6.2-inch display with a 720×1520 pixels resolution. Powering the V1803BA will be an octa-core 2GHz SoC, that will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory. On the other hand, the V1730DT will pack a 1.8GHz octa-core CPU with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both the handsets will have an option for storage expansion via microSD card up to 128GB. On the software front, these devices will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Vivo’s customized Funtouch OS user interface on top. As mentioned above, the smartphones will have a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Along with this biometric authentication facility, we also can expect the phones to offer facial unlock feature.
In terms of imaging, both the smartphones will sport a 13MP+2MP dual camera setup on the back. On the other hand, at the front, there will be an 8MP camera for handling selfies and video calling. Connectivity-wise the phones will bear dual-SIM support, 4G LTE + VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio port. Keeping the lights for these handsets will be a 3180mAh battery. The Vivo V1803BA will ship in only Gold colour, whereas the V1730DT will be made available in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Matte Black colour options.
