Motorola continues to release affordable smartphones in India, with the Moto E5 expected to be the next device that buyers on a budget would love to set their eyes on. Fortunately, if anyone was experiencing a doubt that a new and improved version of the Moto E5 was not going to land in India, then their doubts can be laid to rest thanks to the latest retail listing and poster leak you’re about to read about.
Moto E5 shows up on Amazon India and retail poster
The smartphone has shown up on Amazon India, along with a price tag of Rs.10,770. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm at this time if the price is legit or not because changes are taking place from time to time on online retailers like this so it is difficult to ascertain at this stage if it is actually going to be priced in an affordable manner or not.
If you wanted more proof that the Moto E5 was going to land in India soon, there is a promotional poster revealing that the smartphone is indeed going to be seeing a launch in the country. The only problem is that the poster did not reveal a launch date or a price associated with the Moto E5, so we will have to wait for those extra, but very important details. It should also be noted that a two hardware specification details of the Moto E5 were provided via this promotional poster.

Moto E5: Specifications, Features
The Moto E5 features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1440 x 720 resolution in an 18:9 aspect ratio. The resolution has been lowered so that it lowers manufacturing costs for the company. After all, it is a budget-oriented smartphone so some compromises will have to be made in the end. The chipset of the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 paired with 2GB RAM.
Alongside that 2GB of RAM, you also get 16GB of internal storage which is a bit on the low side but you’re also getting a microSD card slot that can expand your existing storage up to 256GB. There is no dual-camera setup on the Moto E5, so you’re getting a single 13MP camera that can record 1080p at 30fps, along with a 5MP selfie-shooter that can also record at the same resolution and at 30fps.
You don’t see a 3.5mm headphone jack on smartphones these days, but the Moto E5 retains it, and it also comes with other connectivity options ranging from Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, LE, AD2P, FM radio and a single microUSB 2.0 charging port. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and no in-screen fingerprint sensor because the smartphone does not have an OLED screen, which you actually need to place that advanced security feature.
The smartphone does support fast charging technology, but it is only up to 10 watts and nothing more than that. However, its huge selling point will be its large 4000mAh battery, which you don’t find often on a budget-friendly Android-running smartphone these days.
Moto E5: Expected Price in India
While the pricing is yet to be confirmed in India, the expected price in the country is said to be Rs. 12200. There are other variants of the smartphone called the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play, but it is yet to be confirmed if these smartphones are going to be unveiled in India or not. For now, we will be focusing on the Moto E5 for now and confirm the launch date of the smartphone in India as well as its exact price.
