Moto Z3 Play Android 9.0 P Closed Beta Update: Arrives Ahead of India Launch
The Moto Z3 Play is set to launch in India this July and it might just get launched next week. Interestingly it has already got an update, a week before the launch. However, Motorola is testing the Android 9.0 P Beta build in China only. The company plans to roll it out globally soon. So, the smartphone may or may not come with a pre-existing update when it releases in India. There’s no exact date on when Motorola is going to roll Android 9.0 P Beta to the Z3 Play. Furthermore, it is still under the wraps if Google and Motorola have any plans to introduce the Android P beta to other Motorola devices.
Moto Z3 Play: Expected Price in India, Specifications, Features
Motorola Moto Z3 Play is expected to launch at a starting price of Rs. 33,300. The device is due to be launched in July 2018. The 64GB variant will come with a price tag of Rs. 33,300. The smartphone features an aluminium body which makes it light and is easy to carry around. Also, the smartphone exhibits a premium look. Drawing inspiration from Sony, the fingerprint reader is placed on the side rather than at the back or front. It comes with an option of recording multiple fingerprints. Additionally, the Moto Z3 Play is splash and dust resistant. The handset sports a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display which is bright and reproduces vivid colors. It has a great outdoor legibility even under bright sunlight. Moreover, there is Corning Gorilla Glass protection for a scratch-free screen.

Also, there is a dual-tone LED flash to accompany the cameras in dark conditions. For selfies and video calls, the Moto Z3 Play comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper which is also assisted with a dual-tone LED flash.
Under the hood, the device is loaded with an octa-core Snapdragon chipset which is coupled with 4GB of RAM to ensure a smooth and flawless smartphone experience. The Moto Z3 Play ships with an inbuilt storage space of 64GB which can be expanded further up to 256GB via a microSD card.
