Now, that it has been established that Google is all set to include the Moto Z3 Play to the list of non-Pixel handsets with Android P Beta, let’s dive in to find out what to expect from the update. The Android 9.0 P comes with some major improvements and modifications. The user interface bumps up to Android 8.1 Oreo with the latest Android Beta. Furthermore, you also get new Swipe Gestures, Settings, Volume options, Quick Setting tiles, and more. There are not many details as what more can be expected with the new update as of now, but it certainly seems promising.


Moto Z3 Play Android 9.0 P Closed Beta Update: Arrives Ahead of India Launch

The Moto Z3 Play is set to launch in India this July and it might just get launched next week. Interestingly it has already got an update, a week before the launch. However, Motorola is testing the Android 9.0 P Beta build in China only. The company plans to roll it out globally soon. So, the smartphone may or may not come with a pre-existing update when it releases in India. There’s no exact date on when Motorola is going to roll Android 9.0 P Beta to the Z3 Play. Furthermore, it is still under the wraps if Google and Motorola have any plans to introduce the Android P beta to other Motorola devices.

Motorola Moto Z3 Play is expected to launch at a starting price of Rs. 33,300. The device is due to be launched in July 2018. The 64GB variant will come with a price tag of Rs. 33,300. The smartphone features an aluminium body which makes it light and is easy to carry around. Also, the smartphone exhibits a premium look. Drawing inspiration from Sony, the fingerprint reader is placed on the side rather than at the back or front. It comes with an option of recording multiple fingerprints. Additionally, the Moto Z3 Play is splash and dust resistant. The handset sports a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display which is bright and reproduces vivid colors.
