Now, after almost seven months of making the phone official, the company seems to be prepping up to bring its gaming smartphone to India. Razer’s CEO Min-Liang-Tan took to Twitter to confirm that he is indeed working on bringing the Razer Phone to India. Although Ming did not reveal the exact launch timeline of the Razer Phone in India, he did confirm that the company is working on bringing it to India, which should be a good news for smartphone gaming enthusiasts in India.

Razer Phone: Specifications, Features
The Razer phone features an impressive list of features and hardware specifications. It comes powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset clubbed with Adreno 540 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The phone packs a 5.7-inch IGZO LCD screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, with Nova Launcher Prime Razer Edition app launcher.
The phone is equipped with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It sports a 12MP+13MP dual camera setup at the rear, with f/1.75 aperture and (f/2.0 aperture, respectively. The rear camera setup also includes Dual-tone LED flash, Phase-detection Autofocus (PDAF) and 4K video recording support. There’s an 8MP selfie snapper on the front with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording capability. In terms of connectivity, the phone support dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ ac, GPS/A-GP, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB-Type C port. A 4000mAh battery completes the package with support for Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+ technology.
Razer Phone: Expected Price in India
The Razer Phone comes in a single Black color variant, priced at $699 (approx. Rs. 45,127). For now, it is available in the US and Canada. Going by its pricing in select regions, we can expect the company to launch it somewhere between 40,000 to Rs. 45,000 price mark in India. When launched, the Razer Phone will compete with Asus’s ROG smartphone, which is also launching in the Indian market, later this year.
