E-commerce giant Amazon is hosting the biggest sale of the season for 36 hours starting July 16. The Amazon Prime day sale is packed with exciting offers and deals on a number of products on the Amazon India website and digital content on Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Prime Day Sale: Deals, Offers to Look Out For
Apart from offering offers and discounts on the existing major products, Amazon is introducing new products as well. For Amazon Prime Video subscribers, there will be new movie titles and TV shows on Amazon Prime Video from July 10 to July 16.
The company will offer seven new titles during the course of seven days, including the moving Raazi, Dunkirk, 102 Not out, along with the upcoming Amazon Prime original show Comicstaan. The Amazon Prime customers also have the chance of winning an Amazon Echo Dot speaker by listening to music on the Amazon Music platform.
Additionally, there will also be Prime Day Flash sales starting from 1 pm on July 16. Judging from the Amazon Prime Day Sale 2018 landing page, it looks like the e-commerce website will be offering discounts on its Echo devices, and the Amazon Fire TV Stick is available for up to 100 percent cashback. Originally listed for Rs 4,499, the Amazon Echo Dot will be available at a price of Rs 3,699 during the sale.
There will be discounts on a variety of items across the board, as you can make out from the Amazon sale day page on the company website. The sale will also include discounts on headphones, hard disks, laptops, printers, tablets, and smartwatches. You can get up to 50% off on the electronics and appliances, and up to 70% off on home and outdoor appliances. Furthermore, if you pay using Amazon pay, you can save on movie tickets, travel, and food. There is a cashback offer of Rs. 150 on Bookmyshow, Domino’s, Cleartrip, and Fasoos. Amazon is also offering exchange offers on smartphones, home appliances, and electronics with a no-cost EMI option. Additionally, you can avail an instant discount of 10% on HDFC credit and debit cards.
Amazon Prime Day Sale: Deals on Smartphones
Smartphones like Honor 7X, Moto G5s Plus, Honor 7C, Galaxy On7 Prime, and the Huawei P20 Pro are up for a discount on their listed price for the entire duration of the sale. Whereas the OnePlus flagship OnePlus 6 will get extra off on exchange prices. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is available for up to Rs 10,000 extra off on exchange purchase. For the Amazon Prime day sale, smartphone accessories will also be up for discounts.
There are deals on select smartphones with an additional Rs 3000 off on the exchange price. Customers using HDFC debit, credit cards will have an added advantage of availing 10 percent instant discount on the purchases. Also, the customers using Amazon Pay Balance will get an additional 10 percent cashback.
Amazon Prime Day Sale: Eligibility Criteria, Other Details
As mentioned earlier, the Amazon Prime day sale is only for the prime members of the e-commerce platform. The Amazon Prime membership costs Rs 999 per year for all customers. Those who are on the 30-day trial period for the membership can also take part in the Amazon Prime Day sale. The company has also launched a monthly membership of Rs. 129 per month recently. Also, Airtel and Vodafone postpaid users on higher plans can also claim the Amazon Prime membership for free for one year.
The sale starts on 16th July at 12 pm and will last for 36 hours and ends on July 17th.
