ASUS ZenFone Live L1: Price, Availability

The ZenFone Live L1 has been priced at PHP 5,995 in the Philippines, which translates to Rs.7,600 based on the current exchange rate. It will be going on sale in the country starting July 21st onwards. As we mentioned above, only the 2GB RAM variant of the smartphone has been launched in the Philippines.

ASUS ZenFone Live L1: Specifications, Features

The ASUS ZenFone Live L1 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1440 HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s entry-level Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with an Adreno 308 GPU. In terms of memory, the variant launched in the Philippines packs 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal memory. For further expansion, ASUS has included a microSD card slot as well. Unlike many other entry-level smartphones, ASUS says the ZenFone Live L1 will accept microSD cards up to 2TB in capacity.

Moving on to imaging, the ZenFone Live L1 features a 13MP resolution camera on the back with phase-detection autofocus. For selfies and video calls, the handset has a 5MP resolution fixed-focus unit on the front. Both the rear- and front-facing cameras on the smartphone come with the Portrait mode feature as well as an LED flash.  Connectivity options on the ZenFone Live L1 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and 4G VoLTE. While the ZenFone Live L1 lacks a fingerprint sensor, it does come with the Face Unlock feature for easy access. Keeping the lights on is a 3000mAh capacity battery. While it may not sound too impressive, most entry-level smartphones come with a smaller battery than the ZenFone Live L1. In terms of software, the smartphone runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with the manufacturer’s ZenUI 5.0 UX running on top. The smartphone comes in Midnight Black, Space Blue, Shimmer Gold, and Rose Pink color options.
