OPPO A3s with notch display to reportedly launch in India soon at Rs. 10,990

OPPO will soon be launching the OPPO A3s in India with a starting price of Rs. 10,990.


A few days ago, we exclusively reported about the OPPO A3s, which is set to launch in India soon. Acoording to the latest report, the A3s will be launched in two variants – 2GB RAM+16GB storage and 3GB RAM+32GB storage.

Reportedly, the 2GB RAM variant will be priced at Rs.10,990 while the pricing of the other variant remains unknown. Moreover, the phone will debut in Red and Dark Purple color options.

Going by the details that we have come to know about the upcoming OPPO A3s, it will come with a 6.2-inch In-Cell IPS LCD screen bearing HD+ 1520×720 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 CPU with Adreno 506 GPU, 2GB/3GB RAM, and 16GB/32GB internal storage. It will run Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out-of-the-box.

Concerning optics, the OPPO A3s will sport a 13MP+2MP dual camera setup at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and f/2.4 aperture, respectively. The rear camera setup will also pack features such as Bokeh mode and 1080p video recording capability. There will be an 8MP selfie snapper on the front with f/2.2 aperture, fixed focal length, AI Beauty 2.0, and more. For connectivity, the phone will support dual-SIM, 4G LTE + VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone port. A 4230mAh battery backs the device. It will measure 156.2×75.6×8.2mm and will weigh around 168 grams.

Interestingly, like the recently launched OPPO A3, the OPPO A3s will also have a diamond like design at the rear. To recall, the OPPO A3 was launched in China, last month, with 4GB of RAM and 6.2-inch display bearing 19:9 aspect ratio. A MediaTek Helio P60 processor powered the phone with 128GB storage. The phone was launched at CNY 2,099 in China (approx. Rs. 21,000). According to us, the upcoming OPPO A3s seems to be a rebranded version of the OPPO A3 with slightly different specifications and lesser pricing. It would be interesting to see how early OPPO launches it in India.
