OPPO PAHM00 gets TENAA certification in China, an affordable Find X variant coming soon?

A few days back, a new smartphone by OPPO labelled as PAHM00 was spotted on the Geekbench database. The benchmark listing had revealed the key details of the device, which is likely to be launched very soon. Well, the handset has now achieved the TENAA certification in China. If we take a look at the certification, we can see that the smartphone has the same design as the flagship OPPO Find X, TD-LTE connectivity, and its marked with the model number PAHM00.

OPPO PAHM00: What We Know So Far

Going by the TENAA certification, the OPPO PAHM00 appears to have the same design as that of the OPPO Find X, meaning we might see a slider camera on this handset as well. However, the device is likely to be an affordable variant of the Find X, powered by last year’s octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. The previous Geekbench listing had also revealedthe same details, including that the handset might run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Though it’s just our guesswork as of now, the actual specs of the smartphone may vary, and it could even turn out as a completely new smartphone with a different set of specifications, powered by a newer chipset.

OPPO Find X: Features, Specifications

If we consider the latest offering from OPPO, it had unveiled its flagship Find X smartphone last month. The company’s Find-series had almost disappeared in the last four-year period, and made a comeback in the form of Find X. The key feature of the Find X is that it comes with a motorized slider camera module that pops up when users open the camera app. The handset sports a 6.42 inches AMOLED display with FHD+ 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, resulting in an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a pixel density of 401 PPI. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset (4×2.8 GHz Kryo 385 Gold + 4×1.7 GHz Kryo 385 Silver, paired with Adreno 630 GPU.


The Find X packs 8GB of RAM and is available in 128GB/256GB internal storage options. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box. Imaging-wise, the phone features a 16MP+20MP dual camera setup at the rear, and a has a 25MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture at the front. The whole package is fueled by a 3730mAh battery that has VOOC fast charging support. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 59,990 in India is, and it will go on sale starting from August 3 exclusively through Flipkart.
