Redmi 5A: Price in India, Offers
The Redmi 5A is available in two variants – 2GB RAM + 16GB internal memory and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal memory. The 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant is priced at Rs.5,999, while the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal memory variant is priced at Rs.6,999. In terms of color options, the Redmi 5A comes in Gold, Grey, and Rose Gold colors.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A (review) boasts of a 5.0-inch 720 x 1280 HD resolution fully-laminated IPS display with 1000:1 static contrast ratio and 296 PPI pixel density. It comes with a Reading mode, which is claimed to protect user’s vision and reduce eye fatigue by filtering out harmful blue light emitted from the display. Running under the hood is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with an Adreno 308 GPU clocked at 500 MHz. Xiaomi has coupled the quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM in the base variant and 3GB of RAM in the more expensive variant. As for storage, the 2GB RAM variant of the smartphone includes 16GB of internal memory, while the 3GB RAM variant is equipped with 32GB of internal memory. For further expansion, the Redmi 5A has a dedicated microSD card slot that accepts up to 128GB cards in the VFAT format.
In the camera department, the Redmi 5A is more or less on par with most other smartphones available in the entry-level segment currently. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2/2 aperture lens, phase-detection autofocus, and an LED flash. For selfies, the Redmi 5A sports a 5-megapixel snapper on the front with an f/2.0 aperture lens.
