Honor 10 Will Receive AIS, GPU Turbo Update in August that Improves Camera, Gaming Performance

According to Huawei, GPU Turbo can improve handset performance by 60 percent while reducing power consumption by up to 30 percent. Needless to say, that will make the Honor 10 a much better performer than it already is. The GPU Turbo is expected to make gaming smoother for Honor 10 users.

The Automatic Image Stabilization (AIS) is expected to make images better by the use of artificial intelligence. The company claims that the AIS has an accuracy of 98 percent, with the feature helping to stabilize imagery within 0.02 seconds. Until now, we have seen Electronic and Optical Image Stabilization on smartphone cameras, so let’s see what improvement the AIS can make over them. The Honor 10 is already equipped with Electronic Image Stabilization.

Honor 10: Price in India, Variants

The Honor 10 is priced at Rs 35,999 for the Indian market, but the best deal presently is at Flipkart, under the Flipkart Big Shopping Days sale. The device can be bought for a selling price of Rs 29,999, which is a flat Rs 6,000 discount. The device comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colors only one storage variant — 6GB RAM plus 128GB internal storage.

Honor 10: Specifications, Features

The Honor 10 takes pride in its camera sensors that come with AI features. Both the rear 24MP+16MP camera and front 24MP camera are AI-enabled, which means that the front and rear cameras will select the best photography settings for each scene being shot. The front camera sensor is enhanced light-sensitive for clearer selfies, and both cameras have the much-loved Bokeh effect feature, where the background is blurred to focus on the subject of the camera. The cameras also have special studio-lighting effects, facial modeling and face recognition.

Among other notable features of the handset is its ultrasonic under-glass fingerprint scanner on the front, and the company claims it can take wet hands just as easily.
