It’s old news that Apple is refreshing its iPhone lineup with the launch of three new models, which are set to release later this year. Along with the trio, we might even see the Cupertino-based company bringing in some more devices within the year. According to the former Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo Apple is reportedly planning to launch the new iPad Pro, Mac mini, newer Apple Watch and much more this fall.
Kuo’s prediction had been mostly accurate in the past as the analyst had gained the knowledge from the supply chain sources. The TF International Securities analyst now predicts that Apple is planning to replace the 10.5-inch iPad Pro with an all-new 11-inch model. Furthermore, Kuo claims that there will be an updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro as well. If Apple announces these two new models, the current iPad lineup will have handhelds like: 7.9-inch one, 9.7-inch, 11-inch, and 12.9-inch variants. Some rumours mention that the newer iPad models support face ID and a ‘miss the home’ button.
The analyst also predicts that Apple is planning to launch a latest version of Apple Watch as well. According to Kuo, the next generation Apple Watches will have 1.57-inch and 1.78-inch displays respectively with case height identifiers of 38mm and 42mm case sizes respectively. Moving forward Kuo also claims that Apple could launch the low cost version of MacBook Air as well. A Bloomberg report hints that Apple could also launch an upgraded AirPod, that might have ‘Hey Siri’ voice activation, and AirPower wireless charging mat support.
Previously, Kuo had predicted that Apple is aiming to launch the new iPhones in mutiple colour options. As per Kuo, Apple might launch the 6.1-inch screen variant in grey, white, blue, red and orange colours, whereas the 6.5-inch screen model of the iPhone may debut in black, white and an all-new gold colour. Along with these new iPhones Apple is also considering to refresh the current iPhone X model with the launch of the new variant with the same 5.8 inches screen size. Moreover, some even believe that the Silicon Valley giant is also thinking to launch the current iPhone X variant in gold colour which had gained the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification recently.
