If you have been waiting for ASUS to launch the 6GB RAM variant of the ZenFone Max Pro M1, there is some good news for you. ASUS has finally confirmed a release date for the 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone.

ZenFone Max Pro M1: 6GB RAM Variant Sale Starts From July 26

The ZenFone Max Pro M1 6GB RAM variant will be going on sale in India starting July 26, i.e. next Thursday. Just like the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the smartphone, grabbing one will be extremely difficult as it will be sold via the flash sale route on Flipkart and the demand for it is expected to be very high, given the fact that the ZenFone Max Pro M1 is the only smartphone on the market currently that can give Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro a run for its money.

ZenFone Max Pro M1: Price in India, Offers

As announced by ASUS when it launched the ZenFone Max Pro M1 in India back in April this year, the 6GB RAM variant will cost Rs.14,999 in India. The 3GB RAM variant of the smartphone is priced at Rs.10,999 in India, while the 4GB RAM variant of the handset is priced at Rs.12,999. As for offers, Flipkart hasn’t announced any specific offers for 6GB RAM variant of the handset just yet. However, Axis Bank Buzz credit cardholders can get extra 5% off on the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants of the handset. The same offer will also be applicable on the 6GB RAM variant starting July 26.

ZenFone Max Pro M1: Specifications, Features

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 boasts a metal unibody design that gives it a premium appearance. It features a large 5.99-inch IPS display with 1080 x 2160 Full HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to the bezel-less display design, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 is roughly the same size as a conventional 5.5-inch smartphone in terms of physical dimensions. It measures 159 x 76 x 8.5mm and weighs in at 180 grams.

The ZenFone Max Pro M1 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz with an Adreno 509 GPU. It comes in three memory configurations – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. All three variants come with a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion.

In the camera department, ZenFone Max Pro M1 impresses with a 13MP + 5MP dual-camera setup on the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants and a 16MP + 5MP setup on the 6GB RAM variant. For selfies, the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the smartphone feature an 8MP sensor on the front, while the 6GB RAM variant is equipped with a 16MP unit. The selfie camera supports Face Unlock and comes with Beauty-shot to enhance selfies.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, FM radio, and 4G VoLTE. The smartphone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5-magnet speaker powered by NXP Smart Amplifier. Keeping the lights on is a massive 5000mAh capacity battery with fast charging support.
