Nokia 8110 4G marks the brand’s nostalgic return to the feature phone segment. Geared with the latest connectivity options and a sleeker body, the Nokia 8110 4G sure looks like a revamped version of its old self. In the latest news, HMD Global has launched this iconic feature phone in China. Nokia’s official Weibo handle posted about the launch alongside pricing and other details.

The above post states that the Nokia 8110 4G has been launched in Banana Yellow and Classic Black colour options in China. The phone is priced at CNY 499, which converts to roughly Rs. 5,066.
Nokia 8110 4G: Specifications, Features
The Nokia 8110 4G is a dual-SIM feature phone with a slider design on the front that slides down to reveal the keypad. With this design, the users can slide it down to access the keypad and slide it back up when on call. The phone features a 2.45-inch QVGA screen with 240×320 pixels. It runs Kai OS-based Smart Feature OS and is powered by a 1.1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor coupled with 4GB of storage.
Unlike the Jio Phone, the Nokia 8110 does not have a front camera. It sports a 2MP rear camera with an LED flash. Connectivity options on the Nokia 8110 4G include 4G VoLTE with hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM radio. A 1500mAh battery backs the phone and is claimed by the company to offer up to 9.32 hours of talk time on VoLTE and up to 25 days of standby time on LTE. It measures 133.45×49.3×14.9mm. Another nostalgic element on the Nokia 8110 4G other than its design is the presence of the revamped Snake game, which used to be quite a popular back in Nokia’s glory days.
Additionally, like the Jio Phone, the Nokia 8110 4G will also receive support for WhatsApp, YouTube, and Facebook soon. It must be noted that both the Jio Phone and Nokia 8110 4G run the same OS. The Nokia 8110 4G allows users to sync their contacts and calendar via Gmail and Outlook.
Nokia 8110 4G: Availability in India
Currently, the Nokia 8110 is available at Rs. 6,070 on Amazon for the Banana Yellow variant at Rs. 5,990 for the Classic Black model. It must be noted that it is not being sold by Nokia, but some third-party sellers on e-commerce portals in India.
The Nokia 8110 4G faces a tough competition in India with the Jio Phone, which is priced lower and offers similar specifications. However, it has just one additional feature that the Jio Phone lacks i.e. WiFi Hotspot. But at the price of over 5K, there are other smartphone options that users can buy instead of a feature phone like Nokia 8110 4G.
