Honor Note 10 Pre-orders Open Now Officially Ahead of July 31 Launch in China

Huawei's sub-brand, Honor is all set to launch the bigger version of the Honor 10 dubbed the Honor Note 10. In the latest news, the company has already listed it for pre-orders in China.

Huawei’s sub-brand has been on a launch spree lately. The brand has made a significant place in the mid-range with phones like Honor 7X, Honor 10, and others. Now, in the latest news, it seems to be gearing up to add another smartphone to its lineup. The upcoming phone is going to be a bigger version of its Honor 10 smartphone, dubbed Honor Note 10. It will be featuring a taller display and more powerful battery.

Honor 10: Pre-orders Officially Kicks Off

According to the latest report, Honor is slated to release the Honor Note 10 on July 31, 2018. The company has also opened the pre-booking window for the upcoming smartphone in China. Interested buyers in the region can now pre-book or pre-order the phone ahead of the launch by making a downpayment of CNY 99 (approx. Rs. 1,000). Making the deal sweet, Honor is also bundling a customized headphone with the phone.

Honor 10: Expected Price in India, Launch

As of now, we do not have information regarding the pricing of the phone. However, one of the reports about the Honor Note 10 have hinted that there might be a premium Roll Royce edition of the phone that could be launched at RMB 9,998 (approx. Rs. 1,02,393). Of course, the pricing looks absurd, and we know that the phone would cost much lesser than the suggested pricing. As for the standard variant of the Honor Note 10, we can expect to launch under the 40K price segment.

Concerning launch, we have already mentioned that the phone will be unveiled in China on July 31, 2018. For now, we have no details whether Honor will be launching it in India too.

Honor 10: Rumoured Specifications, Features

The Honor Note 10 was recently spotted in a TENAA listing. According to that listing, the phone will come with a 6.96-inch Super AMOLED FullView display paired with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The listing did not mention the display resolution, but we can expect Full HD+. Under the hood, the phone could come powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor, just like the Honor 10 and other recently launched Honor smartphones. The Honor Note 10 could arrive in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 64GB /128GB/512GB storage options.

For optics, the Honor Note 10 could come with a 16MP + 24MP AI dual-camera setup at the rear. Both the dual sensors will have a f/1.8 aperture. On the front, the phone will settle for a 13MP camera for selfie, which is a downgrade from the Honor 10 (review) that boasts 24MP selfie snapper. A 4900mAh battery is expected to back the device, which is significant but does not conform to the previous rumours that hinted a 6000mAh battery. Additionally, the phone could come with support for SuperCharge fast charging technology.

Moreover, the Honor Note 10 could sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. TENAA listing suggests that the phone will measure 177 x 85 x 7.65mm and weigh 230 grams. On the software, it would most likely ship with Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2.
