The Honor Note 10 is all set to launch in China in 4 days. The handset has already been featured with all the official specifications on TEENA, the Chinese telecom authority. The big-screen device was expected to pack a big battery and today the company has announced the exact size of the battery on its official Weibo account.

Honor Note 10 to Feature a Massive 5000mAh Battery

China-based handset maker Huawei has shared a teaser poster via Playfuldroid, revealing that the handset will be powered by a massive 5000mAH battery. The device was also spotted in a leaked image recently, placed right beside Nintendo Switch gaming console. Judging by the set up in the image, fans are expecting that the Honor Note 10 will be arriving with some gaming functionalities. The smartphone may pack some 4D gaming capabilities that had been introduced on the Honor Play smartphone by the company. The teaser poster also includes the word ‘COOL’ which hints that the smartphone may bring some kind of heat dissipation feature as well. Honor Note 10: Specifications

The Honor Note 10 is a bigger version of the Honor 10. The smartphone is a flagship phablet from Honor which features a glass and metal build, a large display and packs the latest hardware, along with some ‘cool’ features that are not common knowledge yet. The smartphone comes with a huge 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, giving it the status of a phablet. With super-thin bezels, the display comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-core Kirin 970 processor, which the latest hardware offering from Huwaei. It is further coupled with 6GB of RAM/8GB RAM and multiple onboard storage options including 64/128/256/512 GB. You can use SIM slot 2 to insert a microSD card to further increase the storage. With the massive battery and the latest chipset, you don’t have to worry about the performance of the phone while gaming or working on multiple tabs.


For optics, Honor has included a combination of 16+24-megapixel lenses at the back of the Honor Note 10. The camera software also includes AI functionalities to capture detailed images in any lighting conditions. The image sensors can shoot 4K videos at 30fps, slow-motion videos, and more. Additionally, there is a portrait mode and optical zoom. On the front, the device houses a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling. The camera comes with features like AI beauty mode and bokeh effect along with a face unlock option. Along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

On the software front, the Honor Note 10 runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS with a touch of Honor’s own User Interface wrapped with EMUI 8.1 skin, which includes a number of AI functionalities and customization options. For connectivity, the device comes with features including 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM slots,  NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n. The device measures 177 x 85 x 7.7 mm and weighs 230 grams.

Honor Note 10: Price in India, Availability

So far, there is no information regarding the pricing of the handset. According to a report, the company is also planning to launch a special edition of the smartphone, dubbed Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition. The images of this special edition have leaked recently. This will be a premium offering from Honor and is China-exclusive for now. There is no information on whether Honor will be releasing the Honor Note in India anytime soon.
