The ASUS Zenfone 5Z price in India is Rs. 29,999 for the 6GB RAM+64GB storage variant, Rs. 32,999 for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage model, and Rs. 36,999 for the high-end 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant.
Huawei’s Honor 10 has been launched at CNY 2799 (approx. Rs. 28,089) for the 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant, CNY 3199 (approx. Rs. 32,104) for the 6GB RAM+64GB storage model, and CNY 3599 (around Rs. 36,118) for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant.
Mi 8 vs ASUS Zenfone 5Z vs Honor Note 10: Display
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a 6.21-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2248 pixels resolution and 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The ASUS Zenfone 5Z packs a 6.2-inch full-HD+ LCD screen with 1080×2246 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The Honor Note 10 comes with a 6.95-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen 1080×2248 pixels resolution and 18.5: 9 aspect ratio.
In the display segment, both the Mi 8 and Honor Note 10 fair better than the ASUS Zenfone 5Z with their superior AMOLED screen.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Mi 8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, wherein the 8GB RAM option is limited to the Mi 8 Explorer Edition. The Mi 8 has 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage options. A 3000mAh battery backs the smartphone with support for Quick Charge 3.0. On the software front, the phone runs MIUI 10.
The ASUS Zenfone 5Z is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage options. A 3300mAh battery with support for fast charging completes the package. The phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo-based ZenUI 5.0 out-of-the-box.
On the contrary, the Honor Note 10 comes powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 970 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 and is backed by a 5000mAh battery.
In this segment, except for the Honor Note 10, both the Xiaomi Mi 8 and the ASUS Zenfone 5Z have a powerful processor backing them. Of course, the Kirin 970 is also a good SoC but we have doubts when it is pitted against the SD845.
Mi 8 vs ASUS Zenfone 5Z vs Honor Note 10: Camera
For optics, the Xiaomi Mi 8 flaunts a 12MP+12MP dual camera setup at the rear with dual pixel autofocus, 1.4-micron pixels, 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) , AI portraits, and AI scene detection. There is a 20MP selfie camera on the front with AI portrait selfies and beautify.
The ASUS Zenfone 5Z sports a 12MP+8MP dual rear camera setup with f/1.8 and f/2.2 apertures, respectively along with other features such as dual PDAF, EIS, 4-axis OIS, and more. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and portrait mode.
Lastly, the Honor Note 10 has a 24MP+16MP dual rear camera setup with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and AIS (Artificial Image Stabilisation). It has a 13MP front camera with a slew of AI modes.
Clearly, the Honor Note 10 takes the cherry in this segment with its superior dual camera while the Xiaomi Mi 8 takes the second spot with a better selfie snapper.

As a verdict, we can say that if you are looking for a smartphone with a superior camera setup then the Honor Note 10 should be the best pick among the three but if you want a powerful smartphone with a great processer and premium selfie camera specs, then the Xiaomi Mi 8 sweeps the spot. The ASUS Zenfone 5Z fails to shine above the other two phones in the comparison.
